Dried Chiles

Here is something new for us this year. These are 2 oz bags of dried chiles. Some of these are varieties that I have a hard time growing here in Wisconsin. We just don't have the long enough summer for them. Some are varieties that a dependable seed source is just not available. Sometimes I can get seeds, sometimes not. So I've found a source of dried peppers so I have these to add the flavors to my hot sauce. Because I get a better price ordering a larger ammount, I'm offering smaller packs of them here.

These are great for special Mexican recipes as each pepper has it's own distinctive flavors and are used in different sauces. Some are rather hard to find, so here's your chance to make that special dish with the right chile pepper instead of a substitute.
