Hot Cherry, Hot mixed Berry and Hot Peach.
In
the summer of 2003, I changed the formula for my special hot pepper
jams to conform to the special rules of the Madison Farmers Market.
There you have to grow at least 51% of any product you sell, not just
"make" it. As I don't grow the fruit in my jams, I couldn't sell them
there.
Now the jams have a base of shredded zucchini, which we grow by the ton. There is still about 20% fruit, so you don't really taste the zucchini at all. After the fruit taste, you get a bit of a hot after bite from the hot sauce.
While all 3 flavors have the same amount of hot sauce, each flavor absorbs the heat differently. The Mixed berry seems the mildest and the Peach the hottest.
All of the jams are made with a lower sugar pectin, so are fruity, not sugary. They use about 1/3 less sugar than most recipes. $3.50 / 8 oz. jar.
All the jams are great, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to get any made in quite a while. When I have more ready, I will remove this line and put the buy buttons back on the page. Please keep an eye out for them. Thanks.
Watch for our low sugar versions. Only about 1/2 Tbl. sugar in the whole jar. Unfortunately the non-sugar sweeteners are rather expensive and they yield less jars / batch, so the price on them will be $4.50 / jar.
Shipping and handling is $4.00 for first jar and 2.00 more each for 2 or 3 additional jars. 4 - 12 jars are $9.00 total as I can fit up to a case of 12 in a flat rate box.
The PayPal shopping cart is hard to get programmed just right for shipping discounts, so I will refund any over charge on the shipping.

If you prefer or just don't want to use PayPal, you can also email me an order and I will email back my address for you to send me a Money Order.
