They are all $2.50 per packet.
The packs will contain 25 seeds / pack
None of these melon seeds were grown isolated from each other, so you
may get a few melons that are a surprise. The were grown away from
other cucurbits tho, so you won't get anything oddball. There was field
corn between them and anything else.
Watermelon
Yellow These
seeds are primarily from a melon called Desert King. It is a
12-20 lb all gray-green melon with no stripes at all. But as these
seeds were collected from melons grow next to a striped yellow melon,
there could be a few striped plants in these. Both are very delicious
melons and good keepers. Also Desert King is known to have an
occasional red melon, tho all these seeds were saved from yellow
fruited melons. The melon in this pic is somewhat over-ripe. They would
not normally have that hollow sunken spot. This melon was sitting too
long before the pic was taken.
Red
These are mostly from the variety Crimson Sweet, but there were a few
of another striped red melon and a few Sugar Baby melons in the mix.
Most will be a 10-15 lb striped red melon.
Sweet Siberian
Footbal shaped yellow gold melon. Old Russian variety. A bit harder to
determine exact ripeness, but worth it when you do. Taste is wonderful.
Sugar Baby Great little red icebox melon.
Blacktail Mountain Similar to Sugar Baby but a bit earlier and maybe a bit consistantly bigger.
