I DO NOT save many squash seeds myself as they do cross very easily if not isolated. Then you get lots of weird off/cross types. But this is the same seed that I use for my market garden business. We usually have 5 - 8 acres of winter squash and an acre or 2 of summer squash - zucchini each year. Some varieties are hybrids and rather expensive. We plant all of these varieties and more for later at the farmers markets. All my varieties have some specific great trait or 2 that makes them good varieties to grow.

How to use Google Checkout on this site !!

Google Checkout is a great way for you to use your credit card to pay for the order. Google acts as the payment processor for me. I am currently in the process of switching my buy buttons from PayPal only to Mal's Cart which will be for Google Checkout or PayPal. Since Google is a better deal on fees for me and I think is safer for you since you are using your credit card, please use the Google Checkout option if at all possible. Not all of the pages are changed over yet. Look for the pages with the Google Checkout logo. If things get confusing, just give me an email.

I am offering 1 variety that I planted isolated from any other cucurbits. This is a hybrid seed that a grower sent to me of his own cross. It is a cross of Black Forest buttercup and Queensland Blue. I call it Queens Forest. It is a rather large blue gray dry sweet squash. Baked in the oven, it was the best tasting squash I've ever had. I saved seeds that I will again plant away from other cucurbits. Neither of us know quite what we will get from these saved seeds. Some will likely revert but hopefully most will look like those that I grew last year. The germination on the seeds I saved is only about 40-60% but I will give you a packed of at least 35 seeds to try.

Packets contain at least 25 seeds, (about twice what's in store packs). They are all $2.50 per packet. I've had to raise my price a little as my cost for the seeds is getting out of hand.

Winter Squash and Zucchini lovers. It will be 1 pack of EVERY variety listed above. You will be getting 14 packs of seed. S&H is on me for this too. By the pack the price would be $35.00 + S&H. This deal is only $29.00 and 0 S&H. This is quite an offer if you love winter squash or have a market garden.

I'm having a bit of a problem right now with my main email account. If you get a "bounced" email message from my contact links, here is an alternate email that should get thru to me.
