This is a grocery store save. The original fruit was a ORANGE, not gold, grape. At the time there were NO Orange grape varieties listed in any catalogs I could find. My guess is it was an exclusive variety much like the "Santa Grapes" were.

The saved F-2 seeds were planted and all plants produced similar orange grape shaped fruit. The ripened fruit were close to SunSugar in flavor. One of my favorites. Massive plants with LOTS of fruit.
