Currant Gold Rush

gold rush

(L. pimpinellifolium) This strain was a selection by a Dutch seedsman, chosen for its manageable growth habit and excellent heavy set of 1/4" fruits borne in trusses of 10-12. Plants do not drop fruit. Indeterminate, 75-80 days from transplant. More orange-gold than the yellow currant. All the currants are very sweet. Currants are also known as 'teaspoon' tomatoes because they are so small.
