Husky Gold

70 days. VF. 1993 All-America Selections Winner. Beautiful, golden fruits average size about 8 oz. with sweet, mild flavor. Very uniform. Dwarf plant but full sized fruit. Another good variety for container growing.

All the Husky varieties have the short stocky stems and crinkly rugose foliage characteristic of Dwarf varieties.

Most of the Husky varieties have been discontinued by the seed companies. I've been growing and saving my own seed for several generations and they seem to grow the same as the originals.
