Oregon Star

Large egg shaped or oxheart fruit. Great slicer. Firm, early, can be parthenocarpic under the right conditions. Makes a great creamy tomato juice. Great variety for cooler seasons.

Parthenocarpic means it sets fruit without being fertilized therefore without making seed. Most plants will drop the fruit if the flower is not fertilized.

Because it can be parthenocarpic, some years it's hard to get good seeds.
