(80 days) One of the top-rated beefsteak hybrids for the home garden. It's extra-large, smooth fruits feature improved exterior appearance, and its meaty flesh is very versatile. Can be  late in a cool summer. Indeterminate. For short season gardens I would recommend trying Big Beef instead.

This is my own saved seed, not the F-1.

I've grown both my own seed and purchased seed for several years. Here are 2 pics from my saved seed grown in 09. If anything, my own seed was growing better than the purchased seed right next to these. The fruit was identical.
